Through positive interaction with horses, we create opportunities for young people to develop valuable life skills, build resilience, and recognise their own strengths and abilities.
Every young person is different, which is why our approach is tailored to the individual. We work at their pace, providing a calm, supportive, and nurturing environment where they can feel safe, understood, and empowered to achieve their goals.
The idea behind Active Rural Equestrian has been years in the making.
We saw a need within our community for something different, an alternative environment where young people who may be struggling in mainstream education or traditional settings could learn, grow, and thrive.
Our mission is simple: to provide a safe and supportive space where young people can build confidence, develop new skills, and experience the unique benefits that come from connecting with horses.
